Montaza Palace Gardens and Beach 

 

Alexandria is one of the famous places where families want to spend their vacation. The Montaza Palace Gardens sits by the water with manicured grounds and is steps from the beach, and hence, is ideal for evening walks or a pleasant swim. With greenery and a few fountains, it is an idyllic area for little ones to explore or play around with the family and do something more active. Some interesting interactive exhibits for kids during the stay, mainly focused on history, science and arts have a great impact on educating younger generations. ●       Timings: Planetarium shows run from 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Sunday to Thursday. The Children’s Museum is open daily from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. 

●       Ticket Price: Planetarium tickets are 25 EGP for adults and 15 EGP for children. The Children's Museum charges 10 EGP for entry.

 

Alexandria National Museum 

 

To spice it up with a little history take them to the National Museum of Alexandria, which offers kids an excellent time-travel opportunity, complete with all the facts that have kept this city fascinating for thousands of years. Inside, you will find artefacts from the Pharaonic through to Greco-Roman times, and a good overview of Alexandria's rich history. There are more than 1,800 artefacts available for children to view. They can experience what ancient Egyptians were like from mummies' bodies to pots.

Stanley Bridge and Beach 

 

No visit to Alexandrian can be complete without setting foot on Stanley Bridge & Beach which is significantly popular for sea seekers. This area also has beaches that are great for families — the waters here do not become too deep even up to 30 yards from shore. It's a beach for kids to swim, build sandcastles and watch the views from a bridge. Public transportation is easy with buses. You may prefer taxis or ride-hailing apps for your kids too.
